Serving the Public Interest
NBCOT defines and clarifies professional responsibilities to protect present and future certified OTR® and COTA®s
Certified OTRs, COTAs, and exam candidates must abide by the Practice Standards and Code of Conduct
Certified OTRs and COTAs must disclose any criminal, legal, or other disciplinary matters within 60 days
Those who violate the Code of Conduct are subject to the Procedures of Enforcement
When certified OTRs and COTAs renew, they must agree to abide by the NBCOT certificant attestation
